Learn best practices for surveying, handling, and storing photos, albums and scrapbooks from a professional conservator.

Is your closet full of boxes of old family photographs? Is your basement bursting with letters, diaries, scrapbooks, and other documents from your family history research? Join American Ancestors Conservator Todd Pattison to learn the best practices for understanding and preserving these family materials.  

Follow the link to submit a photo of your preservation challenge for possible inclusion in Todd's presentation. Your submission would have the chance to be discussed with specific examples of things that people can do to better protect their collections or as items which might need conservation from a professional.
