Not looking forward to visiting the Secretary of State office? This event offers adults aged 55-74 a convenient opportunity for driver's license renewal, including vision-screening exams.
A Secretary of State Mobile Driver Services Unit will be available for participants to renew their driver's licenses. Some fees may apply. An identification card can be obtained for $20.00; however, if you are age 65 and older, you may obtain a free, non-expiring State of Illinois photo ID card. Real IDs will not be available.
Drivers age 75 and older are required to take a driving test to renew their driver's licenses; therefore they must visit a Driver Services Facility.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY CHECK, CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD OR MONEY ORDER. NO CASH ACCEPTED.
For more information regarding the services, fees, and identification requirements, you may visit the Secretary of State’s website at: https://www.ilsos.gov/. Written tests are no longer available and must be done electronically at a regular Driver Services Facility.
Refreshments will be provided.
