The Memory Cafe is an opportunity for those affected by Alzheimer's disease or other memory issues and their care partners to participate in activities and enjoy socialization together. Each month a different theme is presented. Co-sponsored by the Barrington Area Council on Aging (BACOA) and the Outreach Services department of Ela Area Public Library, the Memory Cafe provides a comfortable atmosphere where conversation, music, crafts and sharing can be the focus. Light refreshments will be provided and a variety of topical themes will be presented monthly. Registration is required and can be made by calling the Memory Program Coordinator at BACOA, Pam Pellizzari at 847 381-5030.
