World War II was a very different experience for Japanese Americans especially for the 120,000 persons who were removed from their homes and placed behind barbed wire in camps scattered throughout the western United States. Anne Shimojima shares her family's journey from Japan to the US and ultimately to incarceration camps. Audience interaction will be a part of this event to encourage dialog and questions.
