Key moments from Comiskey Park’s final season, including the surprising pennant chase by the plucky young underdog White Sox
Travel back to the final season of the White Sox classic ballpark with Last Comiskey author and photographer, Ken Smoller. Smoller's presentation will give us a glimpse of the joyful and bittersweet 1990 season within this historic park. The discussion will include a series of “what if” questions about the park’s demolition and historic preservation. The book, including a foreword by Ozzie Guillen, will be available for purchase and signing. Ken Smoller (aka “Stadium Vagabond”) is a photographer and writer based in Brookline Massachusetts, with childhood roots in Chicagoland.
