Summer is here and it is time to take your love of books outdoors. Everyone is welcome to join us for a celebration of summer, books, the library, and the longest day of the year.

Summer is here and it is time to take your love of books outdoors. Everyone is welcome to join us for a celebration of summer, books, the library, and the longest day of the year. Ela will provide refreshments from My Flavor It! Place to help stave off summer heat. You can bring a book with you (or come before the library officially closes at 6 to grab a stack), a blanket and/or chairs, extra snacks or drinks if you would like, and then settle in for an evening’s read. We recommend tucking your electronics away for the evening and enjoying the camaraderie and company of your library community (unless you want to take a quick photo to share on social media, then please use #elareadout so we can join in the fun.)

Please note: Most of the library will be closed including book checkout but the restrooms and Meeting Room will be available during the program. In the case of inclement weather, The Great Read Out will take place indoors.
