“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” –Dr. Seuss

Do you want to give back? Be more involved in your community and beyond? Do you have Volunteer Hours to accomplish? Or just want to spend time as a family while contributing to a great cause? Join the Ela Library League! Philanthropists of all ages are welcome—from toddlers to adults—to work on volunteer projects that help locally and globally. Come to one or all!

2-3pm, Sun., All ages. No registration required.

December 30 - Bird Feeders: Help our feathered friends find some food during these difficult winter months. Either take the feeder home to put in your yard or leave it at the Library in our courtyard.

January 20 - Pet Toys for the Anti-Cruelty Society: All pets need behavioral enrichment items  to keep them busy, happy, and stimulated while they live within a shelter environment. You will be helping the pets to feel more at home during their stay.

February 17 - Letters of Love for the Elderly: Over 90% of senior citizens living in nursing facilities report feeling lonely, isolated, or even depressed. You can change this. Join us to create cards and write letters for those who need a little love sent their way.

Have a suggestion for a future volunteer project? Send them to us at teen@eapl.org
